Lack of respect, increased stress and self harm is currently ramped within our communities; homes, schools, workplace, sports etc. Unless we all pay attention to our own behaviour and take responsibility for our own actions and re-actions it will continue to increase.
We have uploaded a preview of our Time To Make A Stand 4 RESPECT Adult supportive Parent/Carer's audio/visual montage to YouTube following reading
a very emotional press release from a family who have lost a loved one due to a 'coward' one punch.
Hopefully we can help the family and other like minded people bring about change.
Our hope is that our audio/visual montages assist to reafirm the complexity of everyone's unique life;
mindful guidance and encouragement for acceptance of our self and others uniqueness.
Time To Make A Stand 4 RESPECT Adult supportive Parent/Carer's audio/visual montage was created with the knowledge children tend to mirror image learned behavior. It is available for teachers and/or facilitator to use at their discretion with the intention that it would not contradict any beliefs but open opportunity to connect with children's home life. The desire is to support the students learning along with embracing the opportunity of raising the awareness we can all be mindful of increasing respect and compassion for each other within individual home life and throughout the wider community.
We recommend family welfare officers attend learning so they are present to obverse parents emotional and physical behavior responses.
Holding respect and compassion for ourselves and others gives freedom to
'make the most of life in our own special way'.
Sometimes we need to give each other space to cleanse each others soul.
Time To Make A Stand Primary and Secondary School Inquiry Learning models are being developed with the intent of achieving an outcome to help children learn to develop life coping skills at a young age. This will help build and strengthen resilience through mindfulness of how to treat each other. We raise awareness that not everyone needs to be best buddies but we do encourage a need to allow each other the right to freedom to be ourselves and allow others to be themselves. (Respect and Compassion). We recommend student welfare officers attend classroom learning so they are present to obverse student's emotional and physical behavior responses.
