Due to the overwhelming response we have again booked
'The Old Fella'
26th March ~ 4th April 2012
feedback & images from the September 2011 events
These dates coincide with' The Melbourne International Comedy Festival' as we feel it is important to take comedy to regional, remote & outer urban communities across Victoria.
We have also been asked by locals to bring comedy to schools so the children and youth do not miss opportunity to enjoy a good laugh!
We are currently finalising the proposed March/April 2012 Comedy Events locations.

'The Old Fella' as seen on TV ~ Across Victoria
who wouldn't be dead for quids
The 'Kids' vote The Old Fella into fame ~ The Old Fella's got talent ~ The Old Fella goes from farm to fame on Australia's Got Talent
We were not surprised to receive the overwhelming response from communities who had the opportunity to see 'The Old Fella' perform live and enjoy a really good laugh. Rod is a very genuine bloke and shared a special connection with
farmers and emergency service volunteers in regional, remote & outer urban communities who have endured or facing years of
adversity and life changing events which include
Drought, Fire, Flood and Rodent impact.
Audiences were relaxed and ready for a well deserved laugh from jokes told which expand back to the days
spent on the farm. It was re bound to be a great time for all.
Passion for Community Events / Programs ~ The aim of our events and/or programs are designed to include all 5 principles which support immediate and long-term recovery and resilience needs which are recommendations quoted by renowned trauma psychologists.
1. a sense of safety 2. calming 3. a sense of self and efficiency 4. connectiveness 5. hope
Day events and/or programs are developed to deliver a supportive hands on approach where individuals and families can learn and/or have experiences which they feel may assist them to relax their physical body, unwind and release built up and locked tension caused by trauma grief and frustration while learning to live a 'new normal'. This can open individuals and families to empower themselves and encourage them to be connective to their personal needs and the importance for them to maintain self awareness and self control so they can sustain their recovery.
